This is the type of due diligence and information gathering that is going to be valuable to your clients.  It’s important that you speak with two or three local mortgage brokers about your market.  Get their thoughts on these types of mortgages, and on what they think might work best for your area and specific clients.  Make sure you really understand them, and check in with them periodically to keep up with any changes based on the market.  Continue to seek out information on behalf of your clients in this area, and they will value and trust you more and more.
