I have noticed that more and more realtors are turning to web 2.0 and other social media sites to promote their companies. This real estate trends report is a must watch for all estate agents. The importance of utilizing all media is a major fact that will give you the edge over those who fail to keep up with the times. Thanks for highlighting this to others.

[...] The annual Swanepoel Trends Report is out for 2009, and there’s now a video clip of the author, Stefan Swanepoel, elaborating on one of those trends — the explosive growth of Web 2.0 and social media as a force to be reckoned with in real estate’s future. To watch it online (it’s about 15 minutes long), go HERE. [...]

That was a great video. Everybody is taking about the importance of social media, but on some of the sites like twitter and facebook though great socially, I fail to see how you can attract friends and followers who are genuinely interested in what you offer ? And do they really translate into business?

Maybe the 2009 Report would shed more light.
