It’s That Time Again…

Oh, come on…you knew it was only a matter of days before someone started guilting you into thinking about what you are going to do this year for your holiday card and / or gift giving to all your clients.  So, let’s just get it over with – it’s time to start thinking about it, let’s just get it done.

I found this company accidentally about a year and a half or so ago.    The company is called Send Out Cards, you may very well have already heard of it. With Send Out Cards, you can create a unique font of your own handwriting, create completely custom cards with your own photos and graphic images, create campaigns for just sold, just listed, FSBOs, Expireds or any other purpose, send gifts and giftcards and the list goes on.

You’ve been told over and over – real estate isn’t a numbers game, it’s a relationship game…your clients, or potential clients, as well as your sphere of influence want to know that you take the time to care about them and provide them with personalized attention.  Do you have the time?  Probably not, but with Send Out Cards, once you create your own handwriting font, you can have your Virtual Assistant take over and provide the people who are important to your business and personal life the individual attention that they so crave, the attention that will make them remember you when they are ready to buy or sell a home or refer you to someone who is.

Don’t take my word for it, I am completely biased.  I signed up for it long ago and use it for my own personal and business needs.  Try it for yourself on my dime today by visiting eRealtySendOutCards.com (you can send two free cards for a limited time) or contact me via the form at the right and send me your email address and I will send you a card personally so you can see how beautiful they are (first 50 people to respond only).  I have one tip for you though…actually two.  The first is, if you sign up, make sure that one of the first things you do is to fill out and send in the form for your personal handwriting font, it really makes all the difference in the world as to the personalized feeling of the card. The second is to always make sure you select the “glossy” check box on the card creation form, they just look so much nicer that way.

Another idea that I am promoting to my clients this year, since “green” is the new black, is to send live trees to their clients, it’s good for the environment and good for building / maintaining relationships…they will always think of you as they watch it grow over the years.  Two websites that I want to offer for your review for sending live trees, are: New Growth and Plant A Memory – see which one is more in tune with your gift giving needs and budget, or give each of them a try this season on different clients.  Give your Virtual Assistant your contact list and let him or her jump in the driving seat on actually placing the orders.

It’s already September, I like to send out Thanksgiving cards and gifts to my clients in addition or in lieu of Christmas / New Year’s…it’s always nice to make that “first impression” of the season before everyone else.  It’s that time of year again…work with your Virtual Assistant to determine what your holiday /end of year plan will be for 2008.  If you don’t have a Virtual Assistant, contact me via the form at the right, or visit the Virtual Assistant Chamber of Commerce and fill out the RFP form and find a talented Virtual Assistant to help you with all of your Real Estate Support Services needs.

Great idea. I've used Send out cards before. One challenge with using MY handwriting though is that I'd probably LOSE clients since my handwriting is so atrocious. ;-)
