		<description>&lt;p&gt;Good advice, Dirk.  I especially like the first -- most important -- step:  &lt;strong&gt;block time for your personal life first.&lt;/strong&gt;  I think too many people fail to account for this important priority.  And, no wonder many succumb to job burnout.

&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Interestingly, recent results from a &lt;a href="http://polls.linkedin.com/polls/63/answers" title="What is the most significant workplace challenge you face?"&gt;LinkedIn/BusinessWeek poll&lt;/a&gt; about significant challenges folks face in the workplace rated Work/Life Challenges as among the most highly rated factors (26%) among 628 respondents.  This factor also remained significant when responses were analyzed by different categories:   Gender, Seniority, Company Size and Job Function.  (Note: Sales, btw, = 40%+).&lt;/p&gt;</description>
