The problem is finding enough customers.
Here’s a great way to find new customers, and it costs almost nothing. It works best if you have …

Okay… The holidays are over and we are at the half way point of the first quarter of a new year…..So the question is…What has changed in how you are doing (or not doing) your business to make real money?
We are all prisoners of our habits, and especially after a certain age, it is tough to “change”. It’s been said, that if we keep on doing what we’ve always done, we’ll keep on getting what we have always gotten….but that is not true anymore! In today’s competitive marketplace we may …

The Labor Department numbers for January came out today, and the most widely followed (and most misleading) employment statistic, the unemployment rate, fell. The bad news was that the economy is still shedding jobs, 20,000 last month. We cannot have any meaningful growth, and we will not have a revived real estate market without job growth. Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s Agent Hero!
Yes, it’s Agent Hero — one frustrated agent who, only months ago, was either starting from scratch or thinking of quitting real estate altogether. A total “Zero” in the eyes of other agents, and even in her own eyes. But then, just a few short months later, with the help of only a few super-technology gadgets, some super-agent …

Every New Year I post this information and will continue to do so as long as these programs are viable benefit programs for Veterans and their spouses. There are two, little known, Veteran benefits available that, when combined, will pay up to 3/4 of a qualified Veterans and/or spouse of a Veteran’s assisted living. I know this personally because my ex father …

There is a principle that marketing experts understand: In any market, for any good or service, approximately 15% of the customers will gravitate to the lowest-priced option. Oddly enough, almost as many will invariably choose the most expensive option, assuming that high price is synonymous with quality. Now, with that in mind, let me share with you a couple of current real estate statistics.
According to the National …

I started to name this article, “Drip Campaigns are for Drips!”, which should give you a hint as to what I think of drip campaigns. I changed my mind because I realize that many of us have used drip campaigns or are currently using them. And the reason we do is often because we have been taught that it’s a good idea, and we’re simply following instructions.
Unfortunately, there is no free money in real estate. Real estate is a relational business, and therefore, our marketing should be designed in such …

Rather. I’m sick of the term and the way professionals seek to use it. First of all, Facebook, Twitter et al. are channels, carrying only what’s fed into them. As such, they could be used as a marketing device, and in some cases they are. But like all marketing they need a strategy, the positioning of a product or service so that it is perceived to fill the need a consumer has. But these channels are also relationship builders, equivalent to what you do at Rotary, church, the neighborhood association and …
