3 Listings and 2 Sales in One Day!

The chronicles of Kellie Pillors….
I have a young agent who is so tenacious she refuses to see any discord in this market.  Instead, she chooses to see the opportunity of a lifetime.   Why?  Because she is doing the right prospecting to make her phone ring and her closing count is rising.  I met Kellie when she was a succesful rookie at one of my client’s offices in Southern California.  I knew the minute I met her she was a very talented agent and prospector.  It was my great fortune, when she decided to move to Tucson, she chose our new, doors barely open, brokerage to hang her license with.

Kellie is a self trained prospector.  She listens to motivational materials on cd  and  has systems and follow-up programs.  She is also one of the most adept socializers I have ever met.  I believe she belongs to every social club and organization I could list.  Funny thing is…..she is also a single mom of a 5 yr old.  There is never an excuse or whine regarding her responsibility.  I know a lot about Kellie because we are housed in the same physical private office and I have personally helped her move her residence into a more private home for her and her son.  I get to hear her on the phone prospecting and I get to see her prospecting materials.

I will share her success (and her systems with you, well at least as much as she will share..lol)

So, how does Kellie get 3 listings and 2 potential sales in a day???  I will share her progress and ideas in an ongoing string to this blog.  The first tip is…..have a contact database that has email addresses and make sure you have a great drip campaign  system.  If you can’t afford a new idx website with these tools, consider icontact.com.  I am not a reseller nor endorser of this product, but i do know it is free for up to 500 contacts and it does work but not as well as phone and door prospecting….

BTW, Kellie knocked 100 doors yesterday and got 2 solid appointments… just a thought.

I say it over and over again… there will be a certain number of properties sold in 2099!  That is it.  It will either be a favorible number or not.  Your job is to capture the highest percentage of that business!!!

Best wishes to all for a fabulous 2009.  Look for some Gov. announcement in January of 2009 that could have huge positive impact on our economy… Stay positive.  50% of  all success is just SHOWING UP!!!

Wow, that is amazing, I have found many Robyn Hardy's online even with the Y in Robyn. What does your sister do? I would love to look her up. I think all the Robyn Hardys should have a reunion..lol. A more serious story, there was a Robyn Hardy (male) who was a bike racer who died 8 years or so ago in Tucson and it caused our home phone to ring off the hook non-stop with condolences. I felt really bad for the real Robyn Hardy who died but I was also humbled by the amount of people who cared for my family thinking I had died.... Guess it all comes back to how do you want to be remembered by your friends, family, society and industry when you die???? Lord knows I will, hopefully, care less when I am dead but my family will be left with that moment of truth. I pray it is a good one...lololol.

  • That's great! I love hearing about agent success stories, especially in a down market. BTW, my sister's name is Robyn Hardy here in Virginia.
  • contact database is of course a good source for leads. I also think that your realty website is like a trained sales person who tries to reach a potential customer with full efforts so at our level it is necessary to keep SEO(ing) our website.

Daniel, I do believe that online business is progressing in it's searchability and leads generation if and when the consumer can land on a "real" site, however, in this market the personal prospecting touch is so much more important. Unfortunately, our web etiquette leaves a great deal to be desired. Huge SEO game players, who are really just listing directories and Google ad monies generators are diluting our ability to truly reach our searching audience. I do believe this one needs a full blog entry and more research. Until then, your contact database is your best friend.
  • That is awesome conversion rate I have ever heard. I hope to see such conversion into an online property business too. Isn't it?
