Between Twitter, FaceBook and MySpace, there is a huge audience for all our information. I feel, if you are not using these venues, you are not servicing your listings the way they need to be serviced. What I have seen across the country is that most agents don’t get their listings on social networking venues fast enough. Sellers are posting their information faster than we can keep up with. They are posting information that may even be in conflict with our MLS listing information because they are in need of a sale and feel more empowered by their own efforts. Not good for our expertise.
One application which makes this easier is SikkU. SikkU makes sure the information is correct based on an MLS feed. They have put the Share button right on the home page of every property listing which allows for outrageous exposure that should be available on every listing we take right now. SikkU understands that viral marketing is the wave of the future and the marketing strategy of NOW! Below is a link to how it works.
Click on the link below and you will see the BookMark button below the property pictures. This is an easy way for, even the non-tech, agents to assist their sellers in getting the right information out in a timely and viral manner. This is one application that is available to you now or you can do this on your websites as well, just ask your web provider to add the button. I have included the html code to do so.
