<description>I am happy you found an agent you like working with no matter what the commmission. My philosophy is that if I can net you what you want in the least amount of time, does it matter what I get paid? I also mentioned that if the property sold fast, there should be some flexibility at the closing table. The blog was not written for agents who charge reasonable commissions, it was written for agents who reduce their commissions to get the listing and then don&#039;t have the funds to actually market the listing the way it should be marketed. If a seller is willing to take on some of the marketing expense, then that should reflect in the initial commission discussion.

One question.... has your property sold?

<description>I recently listed a piece of water front land for sale. I called two brokers for a market analylsis. They both came up with pricing in the same range. I then asked for their marketing plan and commision schedule.Lets face it,there is not that many options on how you would market a piece of land. One broker wanted 8% the other wanted 6%.They where from the same office.I listed with the 6% agent and have been receiving excellant service. The 8% broker was an older gentlemen with the attitude of the author of this blog.He lost out on a nice listing because he put his financial wants before mine as the seller. It is a competative market place and those who do not compete will not survive.
